Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

About Me

Being a writer has been part of my identity since writing a fake teen advice column in my high school newspaper. I won’t exhaust you with the full chronology of my writing life since then, but it includes: writing screenplays and placing in competitions (like being a finalist in the Script Pipeline international screenplay contest), self-publishing a romantic comedy book series to the tune of over 15,000 sales, more than a decade of professional copywriting experience, and two traditionally published books (24 Hours in Paris and 24 Hours in Italy, both of which earned Publishers Weekly starred reviews).

That last part defines who I am today, an author who loves creating characters and throwing obstacles their way across 300+ pages, until they finally get their happy endings. What can I say, I simply love writing books. My next one is ready to go, and I’m eager to see where it lands on the publishing spectrum. Once I know that, I’ll have plenty more to share, and in the meantime, I have a draft of another story I’m excited to edit with fresh eyes.

When I’m not on the word count kick, I’m plotting my next trip—with Paris and Italy being evergreen obsessions (the 24 Hours series makes more sense now, right?)
